If approved, ROADWEST will provide an appropriate resolution (replacement parts, replacement unit, or refund/credit).

Shipping & Returns
Most ROADWEST orders ship from our U.S. warehouses within 1–2 business days. Standard ground delivery in the contiguous United States is typically 1–3 business days, with freight service used for oversized or extra-heavy parts.
- Shipping area: United States only (no PO Boxes or international addresses).
- Processing time: In-stock items usually ship within 1–2 business days, Mon–Fri.
- Delivery: Standard ground or LTL freight depending on size and weight.
- Returns: Most unused items may be returned within 30 days of delivery, subject to inspection and our return guidelines.
- Costs: Original and return shipping are generally the customer’s responsibility, unless the issue is caused by ROADWEST (wrong item, damaged on arrival, etc.).

This replacement air bag is engineered to match popular Volvo and aftermarket part numbers, including 1S5-171, Volvo 8074629, Volvo 20462622, Volvo 21165207, helping restore proper ride height, comfort and safety.
Built from imported high-density rubber and multi-ply construction, this air spring is made to exceed typical OEM performance. The durable bellows and reinforced components provide excellent load support, resist cracking and fatigue, and deliver a long service life in demanding commercial use.

Key component design:
- Piston – lower section of the air spring made from aluminium, steel or composite plastic; provides the lower mounting arrangement with threaded holes or studs.
- Girdle hoop (centre ring) – a ring between convolutions on convoluted style air springs that helps provide stability and shape control.
- Bellows – the heart of the air spring, made from at least four layers: inner layer, two plies of cord-reinforced fabric and an outer protective layer for strength and flexibility.
- Bumper (bump stop) – a solid moulded rubber fail-safe device used in many suspensions to prevent excessive damage in case of sudden air pressure loss.
